Five spaces

Main meeting room30–50 people
Second floor, over 100 m², converted from the former B207 Wuming guest room. It looks down over Jingyu village with the Wall on the far ridge, and opens onto a large outdoor balcony. Projector, sound, tea station, break room and toilets are all on the same floor.

Small meeting room10–20 people
36 m² with one long table and two half tables that rearrange as needed. A single cable to the screen, a one-switch power panel, and a sound system that does both meetings and karaoke. Outside the door is a 60 m² wooden deck, so indoors and out work as one space.

Reading room15 people
Ground floor, 30 m², free for house guests. Suits reading circles, tea gatherings, breakout discussions and craft sessions.

Li Xiaoxie pavilion30–50 people
120 m² of open air under the chestnut trees, with bamboo, a mist fountain and a wooden stage. It has hosted salons, receptions, small weddings and yoga. Weather-dependent; book ahead.

Outdoor dining terrace40 people
Long tables under the trees for 40. This is where the evening barbecue happens.
How many fit
40+ overnight
20 rooms and 34 beds accommodate 40+ overnight guests, with extra beds available by arrangement. Share your overnight headcount and separate-bed or extra-bed needs; the front desk will arrange rooms for your dates. Historical per-room occupancy is not a rooming plan.
50+ for a day event
Meeting capacity is 50+, subject to layout; the pavilion holds 30–50. Anyone beyond the overnight number comes for the day, or stays elsewhere in the village.

Eating
The kitchen cooks Huairou food, with some of it from the hotel’s own plot and the village. Groups can eat as a set menu, a buffet, or a barbecue at the long tables under the trees in the evening. The pastry is made by hand by a local cook: pork-crackling buns, big steamed dumplings, three-delicacy boiled dumplings, red-date sponge.
A day here
- MorningMeet in the main or small room. Tea and coffee at the station; step out onto the balcony between sessions.
- MiddaySet menu or buffet, Huairou home cooking. Open tables downstairs, private rooms upstairs.
- AfternoonFree bikes to the Mutianyu ticket gate in 30 minutes; or the trail behind the hotel, or a walk through the village; or nothing at all, in a hammock.

For the organiser
- 01
Original ID for every adult
Police registration requires a physical passport or Chinese ID card from every adult; photos and copies are not accepted. Send us a name list ahead and check-in goes much faster.
- 02
Mind the loft block when assigning rooms
The 5 duplex rooms in Block C use a steep, narrow spiral iron stair. Not for older guests, small children or heavy luggage.
- 03
Outdoor spaces depend on weather
The pavilion and the outdoor tables are open-air. There is an indoor fallback, but agree it beforehand.
- 04
Village loudspeaker in the morning
Around seven the village committee sometimes broadcasts notices. Earplugs at the desk.
- 05
No rack rate
Groups are quoted by headcount, nights and programme. Meeting rooms are by reservation.
